Membership

The Anxiety Disorders Association of British Columbia (AnxietyBC™) is a non profit organization established in early spring of 1999. We work to increase awareness about anxiety disorders, promote education, and increase access to evidence-based resources and treatments. AnxietyBC™ is a Canadian leader in developing free online, self-help, and evidence-based resources on anxiety and anxiety disorders. From 2014-15, approximately 2,000,000 visitors visited us to learn about anxiety and anxiety disorders. In 2013, we launched the Mindshift app, a portable coach for managing anxiety which has already been downloaded over 300,000 times and described by Forbes Magazine as one of the Top 11 Health And Fitness Apps.  

We invite you to get involved by becoming a member of AnxietyBC. For as little as $30 a year, your membership will go toward:

  • strengthening knowledge about anxiety management for teachers and students through workshops and presentations in schools;
  • delivery of evidence based tools and resources based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy for treatment;
  • translation and development of multi-lingual resources to benefit more people
