Mark V. C. Virgin, LL. B, President

Mark Virgin is an experienced litigator and principal of Stevens Virgin, a Vancouver law firm that specializes in civil, commercial, and administrative law.  Prior to founding the firm in 2006, he worked in private practice at a litigation boutique and spent a term as in-house counsel with the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia.

Mark dedicates hundreds of hours annually to community service, most notably as the former Chair of the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation where he played a key role in the creation of the Dr. Peter Centre on Comox Street. He is a director on the board of the Courthouse Libraries Society of BC, and he is the co-chair of the Canadian Bar Association (BC Branch) annual conference. Mark is also the former Director on the Board of the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia and was awarded the Canadian Bar Association Distinction Award for community service in 2005. Mark has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Laws, from the University of Victoria and was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1992. Mark has served as the President of Anxiety BC since 2016.
