Optional Tools

In addition to using a variety of universal tools to help you navigate your anxiety and related problems, you may have some specific fears or be faced with situations that challenge you in unique ways. For example, some adults struggle with social situations, finding they lack communication skills. Others have very specific fears or phobias such as being afraid of needles, preventing them from getting a routine flu shot. Still others find themselves stuck engaged in repetitive behaviours, or picking at their skin. If you have specific situations that generate anxiety and/or problematic behaviours, there are tools that likely can assist. This section offers a range of such tools that can be added to your MAP at any time you are ready to use them.
