Although I don't live in BC -- or even Canada for that matter-- I want to thank you for the comprehensive information on your website. I am hopeful that this information will help our family a great deal.

Thank you for putting together an excellent website!

Thanks for making your site user friendly. Many of my clients have limited literacy, English as a second language and difficulty concentrating from the PTSD.

Your site is very clear and easy to navigate and found myself wandering through multiple links on your site. Definitely it drew me in. I just wanted to thank you for this valuable resource.

Welcome to the first issue of AnxietyBC’s new e-Strides. This is part of an exciting new direction AnxietyBC has been taking to offer better service to those who are in need of “Resources. Results. Relief.” regarding anxiety disorders. This is just one step of  a nine part Web Site Enhancement project AnxietyBC has undertaken this year to reduce costs and improve outreach into the community.

Most of the changes that have taken place so far have been structural - moving the site to a new server and changing the content manager. This has allowed us to add new services to the site, and make adding content much easier. Some of the changes introduced so far are a You Tube page, a site survey, and an automatic subscription button. With more additions to come.

I would like to have said that they have gone unnoticed, but this is not the case. Loss of links in the documents caused disruption of service on our site. In the end it proved a good thing, because in the process of fixing the problem we were able to add a new resource, a page of links to all the Resource Documents on the site.

DVD Release

On September 04, 09 AnxietyBC held a reception and screening for the release of our DVD  "Separation Anxiety: A Parents Guide to Helping Your Child". The event was held in the Alice MacKay room of the Vancouver Public Library, and was well attended. The DVD was produced with special thanks to the AnxietyBC team, Pinpoint Productions, Dr. Michael Catchpole and the cast.  Funding for the DVD came from BC Partners for Mental Health & Additions Services. Visist To Aunt Leah's

On Aug 19/09 AnxietyBC was invited to speak to a group of youth between 16-19 years of age who are in government care. We were invited by Erika Morgan, the workshop coordinator at Aunt Leah’s Society, an organization that helps provide youth with essential life skills in their journey to self sufficiency. Could my nine year old son have problems with anxiety rather than hyperactivity?
